Destinations Istanbul Turkey

Istanbul and the remote work dilemma

Currently in the middle of a month-long dream trip through Turkey, Israel, and Morocco, I have finally come to the point where I need to sit down…and try—operative word being “try”—to get some writing done. I had signed up for full-time work a month before I left, and that may not have been the best idea.

Not because I do not like it—notice I can only churn out sentence fragments—but because I did not take into account…that my brain would be so holiday-adled…it can only process two tasks at a time. And by tasks I mean navigation and deciding which part of Istanbul to visit in the next 10 minutes. Anything beyond those two, my cotton candy brain is already on overdrive.

Yep. Good luck filing those business stories, you idiot.

Anyway, before I get down to resuscitating my zombie brain, I might as well post some photos to fill in this entry about Istanbul which I solemnly swear I will write more details about in future posts…

Meanwhile here are some random snaps…
