#CollectingSunsets: Tagaytay City, Batangas

“A large drop of sun lingered on the horizon and then dripped over and was gone, and the sky was brilliant over the spot where it had gone, and a torn cloud, like a bloody rag, hung over the spot of its going. And dusk crept over the sky from the eastern horizon, and darkness crept over the land from the east.”

― John Steinbeck, The Grapes of Wrath

Photo taken circa 2008, on an impromptu day trip to Tagaytay City, Batangas. A friend of mine said something along the lines of, “God decided to bring out his ruler today,” which sums up this moment perfectly. This is one of those moments that prove there is magic in spontaneity and the unexpected. <3
