Apparently this is my “LOOK We just won an award” face!😂 #nowiknow Our book—“On The March: The Jesuits in the Philippines Since the Restoration”—bagged both Gold and Platinum Anvils at tonight’s #54thAnvilAwards!😊💕 One of the most rewarding writing projects, #OnTheMarch took me all around the Philippines, from my alma mater in Katipunan to New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa, Culion in Palawan, and Cagayan de Oro and Bukidnon in Mindanao to learn about the work of Jesuit apostolates across different sectors of Philippine society. This book has been a blessing in many ways—more than the opportunity to expand the mind, it’s led to spiritual growth of this (admittedly) lazy Catholic. Through every interview with members of the Society of Jesus, and later in the act of writing about their community work, I got to experience firsthand the core of Ignatian Spirituality: To find God in all things 🙏🏼 Truly grateful for the lessons 💙 @mediawise02 cheers!🥂 #jesuits #mediawisecommunications #onthemarch #jesuitsinthephilippines #writinglife #journodiaries

Latest addition to my library: The 2019 edition of the Fookien Times Philippines Yearbook. “Then & Now: A Story of the Philippines in Photographs” pretty much took over my life last July-August. I’ve always been a heritage geek and this is one of those projects where work did not feel like work at all 😊 Much thanks to my editor-in-chief Paulo Alcazaren and Managing Editor Ditas Bermudez for involving me in the project!🙏🏼 #philippinesyearbook2019
