Boracay

Boracay throwback: That day I threw caution (and myself) to the wind

Once upon a time, this travel blogger was a Boracay virgin.

And the first time she stepped foot on that island paradise off the coast of Caticlan, she got so excited she ended up doing, in three days, all the activities the place had to offer.

By the third/fourth/fifth visit, her yearly Boracay sojourn was spent mastering the art of doing nothing.

And that…

…well that got old.

So when this then-new resort called Ariel’s Point told her she should just jump off a cliff, she thought, Why the hell not?

So she got on a boat with her fellow thrill-seekers, and one by one, they did this:

This *photo below* not only earned her major bragging rights (don’t bring it up or you’ll never hear the end of it), but also rendered her unable to lift herself out of bed for two whole weeks because of muscle spasms and chest pains. :D

Such momentary thrill gave her the longest, most agonizing two weeks of her life, but she will probably do this madness again in a heartbeat.

Or not.

Or maybe after a shot of tequila.

Fin.
